Every Anime Mysterious unit ranked S to C by DPS, support and economy value, with the best starter picks and which evolutions actually carry.
Anime Mysterious Tier List: All Units Ranked
Six units sit in S tier: Ryu, Yuto (Pure Love), Sukuno, Jogo (Six-eye), Wool (Limit OFF), and Bory (Awakened). Below them sit eight A-tier picks, then a B tier of stragglers, then thirteen C-tier units that are simply not worth gold right now. One important catch: this is a launch-era ranking, and it will move with every balance patch.
Read it as a snapshot of what community testing found, not as a permanent truth. The game is young enough that a new banner can reshuffle a whole tier, and balance changes get announced on the official Roblox group before they are obvious in-game.

The full ranking
| Tier | Units |
|---|---|
| S | Ryu, Yuto (Pure Love), Sukuno, Jogo (Six-eye), Wool (Limit OFF), Bory (Awakened) |
| A | Free, Fammy, Tojo (Awakened), Itacho (Susano'o), Elforia (Awakening), Spood (Yen), School Girl |
| B | Tanzaburo, Yamacho, Last Heir (Awakened), No, Gyuro, Bodhod |
| C | Shinoba, Bulme, Kizao, Barate, Bamboo Demon, Vegato, Sasuko, Crimson Slayer, Last Heir, Soro, Goju, Nobaro, Naruta, Laffer |
One caveat on that table: it lists Last Heir twice, once as the Awakened form in B tier and once as the base form in C tier. The base unit belongs in C and the Awakened version in B, but be aware the published list is not perfectly maintained.
S tier: what actually carries
Ryu scales the longer a match runs. His deferred judgment damage grows over time, which makes him stronger in long waves and boss pushes than in short clears. He also applies slowing, so he contributes support value on top of top-tier DPS. That combination is why he anchors most late teams.
Jogo (Six-eye) is the priority evolution in S tier. His ultimate is one of the most useful active abilities in the game, delivering damage, range, and utility at once. Players pair him with Ryu and Sukuna for farming, and the trio covers most endgame content between them.
Sukuno is the rawest DPS on the roster and one of the strongest Mythics by pure damage. Like Jogo, he gets noticeably better in a team with Ryu and Jogo, because those two create the window he needs.
Yuto (Pure Love) has the highest raw stat block in the game. His passive copies damage stats from other units, so the better your team gets, the better he gets. Pair him with a Cursed Ring and his skill cooldown drops hard enough to change how often you can rotate him.
Wool (Limit OFF) and Bory (Awakened) sit here for team value rather than solo damage, and both are late-evolution targets. Bory in particular is the most common first serious evolution because his gold cost is at the low end of the scale.
The strongest teams are not the ones with the most top-tier units. Ryu, Wool, and Jogo show how much support, scaling, and utility matter once you hit harder content. Pair one S-tier attacker with one S-tier enabler and fill the rest with economy.
A tier: the units that make teams work
Itacho (Susano'o) is the sleeper pick here. Selling him powers up your other units, which sounds like a gimmick until you realize his DPS is excellent while he is on the field. The catch is that the buff strategy does not pay off on every level, so treat it as a stage-specific tool rather than a default.
Fammy is a solid all-rounder and, more importantly, a hard requirement if you want to work toward Wool's Limit OFF evolution. That dependency makes her worth keeping even when a nominally better damage unit is sitting in inventory.
Tojo (Awakened) hits hard in difficult battles but moves slowly, which makes him awkward on maps where positioning matters. Upgrade him before you trust him. Elforia (Awakening) provides utility, support, and damage in one slot, though she wants a strong AoE partner to cover her gaps. Free is a strong sub-mega DPS option for accounts that have not pulled an S unit yet.
B and C tiers: what to bench
B tier is where stragglers live. Tanzaburo and Yamacho are usable in the mid game but are clearly weaker than what A tier offers for the same slot, and Last Heir (Awakened) is held back by harder evolution materials and weak DPS.
C tier is not a punishment list, it is a bench list. These are units you keep for Unit Index milestones and duplicate-placement rules, not units you build around. Note that Bulme and School Girl are economy units rather than damage units, so their practical value is higher than a pure combat ranking suggests.
Economy units get ranked separately
Three units are singled out for farming rather than fighting: School Girl, Bulme, and Spood. Spood is the Yen specialist, and Speedwagon remains the default economy pick early on. Do not mix these into a combat tier ranking — the gem farming guide covers where they actually pay off.
New units, banner changes, and balance patches reshuffle these tiers. Anyone selling you a guaranteed permanent ranking for this game is guessing. Re-test any unit you are about to spend 85,000 gold on.
FAQ
Which unit should I evolve first?
Bory (Awakened) or Broly, because both sit at the cheap end of the evolution cost scale and stay useful across the whole difficulty curve. Save the raid-gated recipes like Sukuna's until your raid clears are consistent.
Is Sukuna worth the raid materials?
Yes, if you already have Ryu and Jogo. Solo, he is excellent DPS but does not cover the range and utility Jogo provides. Fammy is required for Wool, so if Wool is your target, take her first.
Which units are good for a new account?
Naruto, Goku, and Speedwagon, all of which are free or starter units. They clear Story Act 1 comfortably and cost nothing to build. The beginner guide covers the opening team in detail.
How do I decide between two A-tier units?
Match the unit to the job. Itacho for a temporary teamwide buff, Fammy when Wool is your goal, Elforia when you need support coverage, Tojo when the stage is slow enough that his walk speed stops mattering.
