Anime Mysterious How to Farm Gems: Best Stages

Farm Namek Act 3 on Nightmare for the early game: roughly 14 gems and 40 gold per run at about a 33-second clear, which auto-replay can loop for you. Once Broly is evolved, move to Curse Mall or JJK Act 5 on Nightmare for up to 40 gems per clear. Raids pay the most at the top end, and the AFK Chamber collects in the background while you do everything else.

Gems are the summoning currency, and summons are the roster. Get this route wrong and you spend a week farming for a team that cannot clear the stage in front of you. Payouts shift with balance patches, so keep an eye on the official Roblox group alongside these tables.

What a summon costs

Gems pay for pulls: 50 gems for a single, 500 gems for a ten-pull. A ten-pull costs exactly the same per pull as a single, so never buy singles once you can afford a ten. Save farmed gems for multi-summons rather than dripping them out one at a time, since higher-rarity odds improve on the bigger pull.

That fixed ten-pull cost is what makes the stage numbers below matter so much.

Story stage payouts

Stage and difficulty Gems Gold
Namek Act 1 (Normal) 1 10
Namek Act 1 (Nightmare) 2 20
Namek Act 3 (Nightmare) 14 40
Namek Act 5 (Nightmare) 4 40
Kirigakure Act 1 (Normal) 2 20
Kirigakure Act 1 (Extreme) 4 40
JJK Act 1 (Normal) 7 26
JJK Act 1 (Nightmare) 14 52
JJK Act 5 (Nightmare) Up to 40 76

Note how Act 5 pays less than Act 3 on the same world and difficulty. Higher act is not automatically better, and this is the most common wasted-effort trap in the game.

These are observed payout figures from player testing rather than official drop rates, and they shift with balance patches. Use them to compare stages against each other, not as a promise.

Clear speed beats difficulty every time

Farm the hardest stage you can clear without slowing down. A 33-second Act 3 Nightmare run beats a slower stage that pays more per run, because gems per minute is the only number that matters. Our beginner guide covers the starter team that makes that loop possible.

The early loop in practice

Start with starter Naruto on Namek Act 3 Nightmare. The clear takes about 33 seconds, pays 14 gems and 40 gold, has a chance at the healer unit, and drops Frieza occasionally. Because auto-replay loops a cleared encounter, you can queue it and walk away.

Run the numbers at the ceiling and it looks absurd: at a sustained 33 seconds per clear, 24 hours of uninterrupted farming is roughly 114,000 gold and 36,000 gems. That is a theoretical maximum assuming zero load time and perfect consistency, which nobody hits. Read it as a scale, not a target.

Raids pay the most at the top end

Raid stage Coins (Normal / Hard / Nightmare) Gems
Alabasta Raid Stage 1 40 / 60 / 80 11-22
Alabasta Raid Stage 3 50 / 75 / 100 12-24
Dragon Ball Raid Stage 1 55 / 82 / 110 21-42

Raids also pay raid coins, which you exchange at the lobby for rerolls and gold. Dragon Ball Raid Stage 1 on Nightmare is the best raw gem route in the game, and the best all-round route once you can clear it consistently.

The AFK Chamber runs while you do nothing

The AFK Chamber sits in the main lobby and pays out on its own timer. Logged drops include a 5 percent chance at a 10-gem bundle, a 40 percent chance at 100 gold, an occasional 0.55 percent shot at the character Luke, and unit food for leveling.

Enter it before you log off rather than leaving it on the same slot every session. It is the one source that never asks for your attention, which makes it strictly additive to whatever else you are farming. The reroll farming guide covers the rerolls it also drops.

Codes first, then farm

Redeem your codes before you farm anything. The seventeen codes that list an amount pay roughly twelve thousand gems in total, which is more than a full day of Namek Act 3 runs and costs two minutes at the lobby NPC. The four newest CCU milestone codes list rewards without amounts, so treat twelve thousand as the floor rather than the ceiling. See the codes page.

When to convert gems into gold

The lobby exchange runs roughly 2,500 gems for 12,000 gold. Do not touch it while your roster is small, because 2,500 gems is fifty pulls and a 50 percent gem loss is a big deal early. Convert when you have an evolution that is one payment short and no better use for the gems, because evolution fees climb toward 85,000 gold.

Do not trade speed for difficulty on an unstable team

Moving to Curse Mall or JJK Act 5 Nightmare before your carry is evolved feels productive and nets you almost nothing, because failed runs pay nothing. Confirm the clear is reliable before you commit a session to it.

A full routine

  1. Redeem every active code
  2. Run Namek Act 3 Nightmare on auto-replay until Broly is evolved
  3. Shift to Curse Mall or JJK Act 5 Nightmare for the gem rate
  4. Add raids once your team clears them reliably, for raid coins and gold
  5. Keep the AFK Chamber cycling in the background
  6. Convert gems to gold only when an evolution is nearly funded

FAQ

What is the best stage to farm gems on?

Namek Act 3 on Nightmare early, because it pays 14 gems in about 33 seconds. Later, Curse Mall or JJK Act 5 on Nightmare pays up to 40 gems per clear, and Dragon Ball Raid Stage 1 pays 21-42. Always pick based on clear speed you can actually maintain.

Should I farm gems or gold?

Gold, until your first evolution is done. Gold is what blocks progression at the start, and it comes steadily from every wave. Gems matter more once you have a stable team that needs new units.

Is auto-replay allowed?

It is a built-in in-game feature on cleared story stages, not a third-party tool. Use it. The stages keep clearing while you are in a menu, which is the whole point.

How do I get AFK Chamber rewards?

Enter the AFK Chamber from the main lobby and let the timer run. Collect before you leave so the cycle restarts, and vary when you enter it instead of always using the same slot.

Can I convert gold back into gems?

No. The exchange only runs gems to gold, roughly 2,500 for 12,000. Treat gems as the scarcer resource and spend them on ten-pulls rather than singles.
